CPI-ENG boasts over 8 years' experience
in aeronautical design of guided missiles or drones, with regard
to on-board and ground-based components alike. In particular,
the company deals with the following:
- Parametric 3D modelling of the surfaces of aerodynamic structures
- Parametric 3D modelling of structures and even complex assemblies
- Structural elements machined from aluminium alloy, titanium
and steel
- Structural elements made of composite materials such as carbon
fibres and unidirectional carbon, Kevlar fabric and glass fabric,
low-density filling materials and their relative drawings indicating
their stratification
- Boxes machined from aluminium alloy forelectronic cards and
mechanical interfaces
- Sheet metal structures joined by rivets, bolts and welding
- Rack structures for the installation of electronic devices
- Design of small plastic items, made from diecasting,press-fusion,
stereolithography and sintering
As in other fields, CPI-ENG also carries out parametric 3D modelling and final analysis in aeronautic drone design, using specific software.
It also uses certified materials and has experienced insurface
treatments and in the thermal treatment of materials, connections
by rivets and structural glueing on for which it then carries
out optimization using CFD calculation software.
The design of drones is carried out through both simulations and kinematics.
Also in its design of unmanned vehicles, CPI-ENG works in strict
observance of specific regulations.
